A flat-bottomed stoneware cone with three drainage slots instead of one hole, which slows the drawdown enough to forgive a grinder that is not producing a perfectly even particle size. Made for us in a workshop that fires two runs a month. Heavy — deliberately so, because a preheated stoneware brewer holds temperature across the whole brew in a way a plastic one cannot.
